This device transmits images of speeding violations wirelessly back to the TP for processing. It can be redeployed to speeding-prone locations at short notice.

In corporation with our partner in Brunei, our Dragon Eye SCL GPS speed lidar was introduced and then shortlisted in Royal Brunei Traffic Police tender and conducted a proof of concept session in June 2022. The demonstration includes product presentation, day light and night time capture, followed up with Q&A. The outcome of the POC is very positive and it is a good chance to show the beauty of our product during this POC. We believe that the longer exposure the police has with this equipment, the better he will feel as the unit is specially designed for handheld use in long time under harsh environment.

Thanks to the high resolution and zoom ration, the image is very clear and informative to avoid any dispute. 
For daylight, vehicles from several hundred meters can be see clearly without a problem. For night time, for reflective license plate, the plate recognition distance is up to 250m and for unreflective license plate, the plate recognition distance is about 100m. This is quite oustanding for handheld device.
Battery can be used continuously up to 32 hours before re-charge needed and violated data can be transmitted wireless from lidar device to the police officer smart device for further processing. The apps shows full details of gps coordinator, street name, google map location, speed measurement and time for speed enforcement on the spot. 

Our turnstiles technology: 

• Anti-violent hit technology: despite from the traditional approach of strengthen the gate and rotating shaft, we use flexible structure to absorb the majority of impact force and return to its original position through self-buffering. This approach can withstand 5 times more impact than traditional method while avoid to destroy the mechanism and as a result create danger to passengers. High quality driving component such as motor and reducer are highly used as they can endure higher surge and have better shock-resistance capability.
• Three safety=protection layers: namely IR sensors anti-clamping, mechanical anti-clamping and anti-collision by advanced electric current detection. The turnstiles sensitively detect users’ passing status and prevent hitting while keep it from abuse, illegal intrusion and tail-gating behaviors.
• Extra-wide and extra-high passage way: There is always a limit on the high and the width of the barrier arms because the increased weight of gate will result in higher rotation inertia and hence create unwanted phenomenon such as slow motor motion, unsmooth rotating, unaligned arms and in longer term, More severe, it stresses down the machine and shorten its lifespan. By adopting high-quality DC brushless motor, electromagnetic clutch, high-performance reducer, precise positioning encoder, optimized system control, our turnstiles can load higher capacity of up to 10KG and as such, we can make extra-wide and extra-high arms.
• Smooth and unchanged rotation speed, aligned arms: By using high performance reducer and high-quality brushless and servo motor and self-control algorithm, we can control the rotation 360°and exact up to 0.25°. Besides machine stress distribution are always calculated to be balanced hence the rotation will not be shaking, trembling and variant in speeds and both arms are always aligned.
• Mechanical power-off auto-open technology*: Small UPS are used to open the flap wings during power shortage and emergency cases. This traditional approach has a drawback for long lasting, reliability and environment concern. By adopting special structure, our turnstiles open during emergency by pure mechanism and that is much more reliable.

All the features of any device can be split for two different categories. They are formal features (FF) and consumer features (CF). FF and CF are not always unified. Sometime FF is very important for the customers but not every time. Any producer try to highlight their best FF, however CF are the most important for customers.

A non-user oriented solution will talk about the camera resolution, computing power, operating system or the interface. While a user-oriented will focus on speed measurement accuracy, ANPR recognition probability, recognition error probability, power consumption and data transmission.
Since now time it is not benchmarking of digital photo cameras, speed enforcement cameras are not about megapixel. They are designed for performing distinctive tasks.

The fewer megapixels the cameras are, the more contrast and high sensitivity it has in low lighting condition. The more megapixels the cameras are, the more detail pictures it can give but less contrast in low lighting condition.

This parameter have to be balanced - the size of pictures have to be sufficient for recognizing the symbols of license plate, and at the same time pictures have to utilize as less operating memory as possible - to be processed quickly and to utilize less space when stored.

In common design approach, ultra-high resolution cameras of 10-20MP are used for good license plate recognition probability (95%). The result is large size image files, powerful industrial computer, high capacity storage, high band-width internal bus, powerful cooling system and high power consumption.


In advanced approach, thank to advanced license plate recognition technique based on neural network, SIMICON only use the sufficient resolution of 4MP camera to get 98% probability of license plate capturing. The image size reduced to 100kb compared to 0.6-4Mb of common approach. It also lower the power consumption from 500-1000Wat to 10 times, making it suitable to various source of power supply (solar panel).
